Nancy Hopps Visits Unity of Salem, Saturday, October 18, 2025 - 4:00 p.m.

Nancy Hopps is an internationally recognized healing artist, performing artist, and award-winning author of the book, All the Courage Love Takes, and the Relax Into Healing series of spoken-word audio recordings.

Nancy specializes in sound therapy, life transitions counseling, and spiritual mentoring, with sound healing–and the healing power of love–playing an impassioned and vital role in her work.

“Sound healing is the most elegant, expedient way I have found to shift energetic frequency levels–my own, for another individual, or for a group,” says Nancy. “It’s in the powerful state of coherence that our consciousness–and hence, our world–is transformed.”

She has taught through the University of Oregon and was a founding staff member at Concordia Health Resources, a mind/body healing center providing adjunctive health care for physician-referred patients. She developed the relaxation segments for the “Living with Breast Cancer” program funded by the National Cancer Institute, and the “Coping with Depression” an “mPower Wellness Workshop” online programs funded by the National Institute of Mental Health and the National YMCA, respectively.

Nancy lives in a tranquil rural valley near Eugene, Oregon, with her husband, and delights in frequent visits from her grown children, granddaughter, and grandpuppies, along with the deer, quail, and other wildlife gracing her wooded acreage.

Of the many healing modalities she integrates into her life and work, Nancy maintains that “the greatest of these is love.”
