"The Journey Continues" Rev. Sonya Milton

Rev. Sonya Milton, Certified Transitional Ministry Consultant with Unity Worldwide Ministries, first came to Unity of Salem in early May and met with the Board of Trustees and presented Transitional Ministry to all of you. She introduced the idea of a Mission centric church, one that operates out of the highest and best intention for UOS and the world. She returned in June to facilitate HOPCOF (Honoring Our Past, Creating Our Future) and a Reconciliation Circle, ably assisted by Rev. Cheryl Rohret from Unity of Yakima, WA. Next, in August, she invited you to explore spiritual maturity and the role of culture here at UOS. This led to September’s visit consisting of additional Leadership training around the areas of trust and clarity and the transformative creation of new Vision and Mission Statements, more clearly identifying who you are and what you do in the greater community and world. She’ll return the end of October to continue the nudge in readiness for seeking and employing a new Unity Senior Minister. The Search Team is in place and each one of you are invited to join in holding a vision of attracting the right and perfect next Spiritual Leader for this incredible God and prayer centered ministry. Plan to attend this four hour work/prayershop and clear up loose ends as you continue to co-create an abundant bright future for Unity of Salem.
