We are excited to host this special online event to begin the New Year with the artistry of Michael Stillwater.  Michael, who currently lives in Helsinki, Finland, is an award-winning songwriter, filmmaker and music educator who has been a guest presenter at Unity services across America for many years.  

The Honoring is a program Michael created through his gift of intuitive songmaking.  In this event, Michael will create and record original songs for participants, inspired by their own highest intentions for their lives, reflected back through Michael's voice and guitar.  

During the 90 minute session there is always time for several songs.  If there are more participants than time allows, it means there won't be time for everyone attending to have their own song.   However, in all the hundreds of honoring ceremonies Michael has conducted over 25 years this has never been a problem. The reason, he says, is that a song for one is often experienced deeply by the others in the group- as if it was written for them as well.  

Participants in an Honoring Ceremony are invited to approach it like a meditation in holding presence of each song recipient, as well as being themselves a receiver of the song (if that particular theme is resonant with their own life intentions).

MP3 recording and attractive lyric booklet PDF are sent to participants after the ceremony. When the songs are listened back to, all together as an album,  they invariably form a connected theme, like a musical panorama touching on a personal yet universal quality of our humanity.
