World Healing Meditation

In 1986 more than 500 million people throughout seven continents participated simultaneously in the first World Healing Meditation at noon Greenwich Mean Time on December 31. Many of those have continued each year to participate in a simultaneous global mind link “to reverse the polarity of the negative force field in the race of mind, achieve a critical mass of spiritual consciousness, and usher in a new era of Peace on Earth.

At noon Greenwich time, December 31, 1986, men, women, and children around the world gathered to participate in the most comprehensive prayer activity in history -- a planetary affirmation of peace, and love, forgiveness and understanding involving millions of people in a simultaneous global mind link.  The purpose: to reverse the polarity of the negative forcefield in the race consciousness, achieve a critical mass of spiritual consciousness, and usher in a new era of Peace on Earth.

The majority of individuals and organizations participating were operating under the umbrella of the Planetary Commission, a world wide non-denominational, non-political movement functioning as an extension of The Quartus Foundation. It was a grass roots cooperative effort to unite people in a common bond of love and bringing our planet back into balance. Founded in 1981 by John Randolph Price and Jan Price, the Word “Quartus” denotes the four-square aspect of each individual: Spiritual, Mental, Emotional, and Physical.
