Unity of Salem is an active ministry serving the spiritual needs of our members. We have several ways for adults, families, and youth to experience spiritual discovery and growth through Sunday services, classes, workshops, music and retreats.

Rainbow Bookstore
Our bookstore offers a wide range of metaphysical, Unity and self-help books, tapes, CDs, and greeting cards. We also have a lending library.

Community Service
Unity Friends is an outreach team that assists people within our Unity community and in the Salem community. Projects have included the distribution of teddy bears and backpacks to the Salem/Keizer Schools Homeless Program and the cosponsorship of families at Christmas. We keep an emergency food pantry and encourage people to bring food throughout the year.

Unity Friends assist members of our congregation who are in temporary need of respite care, meals, baby-sitting, hospital visits, or transportation.

Volunteer Service
Our service ministry is a team effort with a true spirit of Community. There are numerous opportunities for people to serve on a variety of teams, such as the Sunday Worship Service Team, the Youth Education Team, and the Bookstore Team.

Prayer Chain Ministry
Our Prayer Chain Ministry is an active and vital part of our service. Once a prayer request is received, it is quickly passed down the prayer chain and prayers are offered with and for the person requesting prayer for the next ten days.

Dial-A-prayer

Weddings, Christenings and Memorials

We offer weddings and christenings in our sanctuary or on our beautiful grounds. Our minister is also available for memorial services in our sanctuary, or will travel to funeral homes or other locations.
