Unity of Salem is a Christian-based, new-thought church. Our spiritual community offers Sunday service messages, music, and meditations that create a harmonious atmosphere in which people are encouraged to open their hearts. Youth Education Visioning Workshop: Saturday, August 7th at 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Lunch Provided) --
If you are involved or interested in being involved in our Youth
Program as a parent, board member, teacher, sponsor or interested
congregant you are invited to attend, this visioning workshop to plan
and assist in bringing our Youth Program into alignment with Unity of

Enlightened Leader Webinar: Thursday, August 12th at 5:00 p.m. --
Our fourth Enlightened Leader webinar will be shown via streaming media
in the sanctuary at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12th. The
webinar is entitled "Stand Like Mountain, Flow Like Water" and
presented by Brian Luke Seaward. The pre-webinar material is on
the TE website and it looks to be an exciting and spiritually
fulfilling webinar. You don't have to be an Enlighted Leader to
attend. Come and join us along with the other Unity churches
around the country for this life transforming event. See Events

Grounds Work Party: Saturday, August 14th at 8:30 a.m. --
Come and join the PARTY. Our Interfaith Peace Festival is just
around the corner. We have more than 500 visitors coming through
our property during the Festival, so we want it to look inviting,
nurturing and beautiful. Join us on August 14th, starting at 8:30 a.m.
to help clean up the grounds. The more the merrier. If you
are looking for a service project, this one can’t be missed. If
you can’t physically work on the grounds, come and bring a potluck dish

Third Annual Interfaith Peace Festival: Saturday, August 21st, starting a 10:30 a.m. --
The Festival Team has out-done themselves this year. Each event
seems to get better and better. You will not want to miss the 3rd
annual Interfaith Peace Festival. Plan to spend the day listening
the a great line-up of guest speakers and musicians, bring the children
so they can enjoy the Children's Village, peruse the exhibits and
booths and enjoy lunch at one of the food vendors. Admission is

Enlightened Leaders' Post-Webinar Meeting: Thursday, August 26th at 7:00 p.m. --
Enlightened Leaders, mark your calendars for the Post-Webinar meeting.
We will gather together to work on the material presented in the

Taize Healing Prayer Service: Thursday, September 9th at 7:00 p.m. --
Our next Taize healing prayer service will be held on Unity World Day
of Prayer. Taize is a meditative, sacred service of song
and prayer, creating an environment where we can go within to a deeper
level of connectedness to our Higher Power. See Events page for more

Unity World Day of Prayer: Thursday, September 9th --
Seventeen years ago, Unity created World Day of Prayer, held the second
Thursday in September. This is an annual celebration to affirm
peace, abundance, and love on an individual and global
level. This year's theme is "Living In The Flow" to remind
us the Divine is within us, ever-present and active. The event
will coincide with the completion of the Unity Village fountain

Cindy Henson Returns for her fourth Consultant Guide Visit: Friday, September 24th at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 24th at 9:00 p.m. --
This is a time of celebration. One year into the Pilot Program
and the Transformational Experience for Unity of Salem. Come join
us for the celebration and to meet our consultant guide, Cindy Henson
(if you haven't already). Everyone is welcome to attend to see
