"Letting Go" Rev. Élan Lambert

Letting go is much easier said than done. Whether it is letting go of a job, life stage, ending of a relationship, the illness or death of a loved one or just turning something over to Spirit in prayer, letting go can be a moment to moment choice. Sometimes we have to release over and over again. Letting go does not mean to give up or quit or invalidate the worth of what was. Rather, it is the process of transmutation or regeneration from what has been to what is to be. Mastering letting go is to learn to trust the process. Years ago, when I was completing an emergency room chaplain internship, my professor and mentor shared with me a small picture she kept in her office that said, "Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God." Join us Sunday to learn more about the process and how you can "Let God, Let God and Let the Good Times Roll!" Blessings, Rev. Elan
